Photo Booths for Corporate Events: A Singapore Planning Guide

Choose a photo booth for a corporate event in Singapore: booth options, space, print or digital, branding and queues. Request a Get Out! quote.

The right photo booth for a corporate event is the one that matches your guest count, your venue space and what you want guests to take home, whether that is a print, a shareable digital file or both. Start with the purpose of the booth, then check space, power, branding and queue flow before you compare suppliers. Get Out! can plan a photo booth into your dinner and dance, annual dinner or family day as part of the wider programme.

Good fit if…

  • You want guests to leave with a keepsake of the night, often a print.
  • You want colleagues to mix between programme segments.
  • You want digital images for internal channels.
  • You want images that carry your event theme.

What is the booth for?

A booth at a corporate event usually does one of three jobs:

  • Keepsake. Guests leave with a memento of the night, often a print.
  • Engagement. The booth gives people something to do between programme segments and helps colleagues mix.
  • Brand content. Images carry the company name, campaign or event theme and are shared afterwards.

Write down which matters most. It decides the format, the output and how much branding work is needed.

The main booth options buyers compare

Suppliers in Singapore describe their booths in different ways, but most options fall into a few broad groups:

  • Print-led booth. A camera, backdrop and printer, with guests collecting a printed photo on the spot.
  • Digital-sharing booth. Images are delivered by QR code, email or download instead of, or as well as, print.
  • AI photo booth. Guest photos are transformed into a styled or themed image. Our guide on how AI photo booth experiences work covers capture, generation, moderation and sharing.
  • Video booth. Guests record short clips or messages. See our guide to choosing a video booth for events.

Ask each supplier exactly what their option includes rather than relying on the name.

What to ask a supplier

  • What does the quoted setup include: camera, lighting, backdrop, printer, props and crew?
  • How many guests can the setup serve in a realistic stretch of the event?
  • What is the output: print size, digital delivery method, or both?
  • How is branding handled, and when do you need our artwork?
  • What happens if the printer, network or software fails?
  • How are images stored, shared and deleted afterwards?
  • Who manages the queue and helps guests on the night?

For AI setups in particular, our corporate event AI photo booth requirements checklist goes deeper on testing and acceptance.

What setup, space and power should you confirm?

Confirm these with the venue and the supplier before the day:

  • Footprint. The booth, backdrop and a clear area in front for posing.
  • Queue space. Room for guests to wait without blocking walkways, the bar or the stage.
  • Power. Dedicated power points near the booth, with safe cable routes.
  • Network. Reliable connectivity if images are shared digitally or processed online.
  • Lighting. Ballroom lighting changes during the programme, so the booth needs its own controlled light.
  • Load-in and setup window. When the supplier can access the room and how long setup and testing take.
  • Noise. Video booths in particular need distance from speakers and the stage.

Print or digital sharing?

Prints feel personal and give guests something to take home, but they add a printer, paper and time to each guest. Digital sharing is faster and easier to brand and track, and it suits companies that want images for internal channels. Many events combine both, with prints for guests and a digital gallery for the company. Decide early, because it changes the setup and the queue.

Branding the booth

Branding can go well beyond a logo. Think about:

  • the photo frame or overlay on every image
  • a branded or themed backdrop
  • props that match the event theme
  • the landing page or gallery where digital images sit
  • approved colours, fonts and logo files, supplied early enough for testing

If you also want guest photos on a big screen, a digital photo wall can sit alongside the booth.

Queue planning

Long queues are the most common booth complaint. Plan around them:

  • Place the booth away from bottlenecks such as entrances and the buffet.
  • Open it at the right moments. Arrival and after dinner are usually the busiest windows.
  • Agree the opening window in advance so the booth does not close while guests are still waiting.
  • Staff the queue. A crew member who preps groups speeds things up.
  • Consider a second booth for larger events, or a digital-only option that moves faster.

Consent and privacy

Guests should know how their images will be used. Tell them at the booth, offer a way to opt out, and agree with the supplier how images are stored and deleted. Our guide to corporate event photography covers consent under the PDPA in more detail. This is general guidance, not legal advice.

How a booth fits into your event

Frequently asked questions

What type of photo booth is best for a corporate event?

The best type is the one that fits your purpose, guest count and venue. A print-led booth suits keepsakes, digital sharing suits brand content and speed, and an AI booth suits themed or campaign events.

How much space does a photo booth need?

It needs room for the booth, the backdrop, a posing area and a queue that does not block walkways. Ask the supplier for the full footprint, not just the size of the camera unit.

Do we need prints, or is digital sharing enough?

Digital sharing is enough if speed and online use matter most. Choose prints, or both, if you want guests to leave with a physical keepsake.

Can a photo booth be branded with our logo?

Yes. Most setups can carry your logo or theme on the photo frame, backdrop, props and digital gallery. Supply approved artwork early so it can be tested.

How do we avoid long queues at the photo booth?

Place the booth away from bottlenecks, staff the queue and agree when it opens and closes. Larger events may need a second booth or a faster digital option.

Do guests need to consent to being photographed?

Guests should be told how images will be used and given a way to opt out. Agree storage and deletion with the supplier, and check your own policies.

How much does photo booth hire cost for a corporate event?

It is quoted per brief, because the booth option, output, branding, crew and opening window all change the scope. Request a quote with your date, venue and guest count.

Can a photo booth fill gaps between event programme segments?

Yes. A booth can give guests something to do between programme segments and help colleagues mix. For a dinner and dance or annual dinner, it can also fill the arrival period. Agree the opening window with the supplier and plan queue space so waiting guests do not block walkways.
