About Stacy Wee
Stacy Wee is the co-founder and Director of Sales at Get Out! Events. Together with her husband Felix Sim, she built Get Out! Events from a two-person operation in 2012 into one of Singapore’s most trusted corporate event agencies — delivering over 1,000 events across team building, gala dinners, family days, and large-scale activations.
Stacy oversees client relationships and business development at Get Out! Events. She’s the person sitting across from HR managers, C-suite executives, and marketing directors — understanding what they actually need from an event, not just what they say they want. In 13+ years of client conversations, she’s developed a sharp instinct for what makes a corporate event truly work: for the organiser, for the guests, and for the brand.
What Stacy Writes About
Stacy writes from the client-facing side of the events industry. Her articles draw on real conversations with HR teams, procurement managers, and business leaders planning corporate events in Singapore:
- How to brief an event company (and what to say if you don’t know where to start)
- What clients consistently get wrong when planning Dinner & Dance events
- How to evaluate event proposals beyond just the price tag
- What makes Family Day events actually enjoyable for employees (vs. just ticking a box)
- The questions you should ask every event vendor before you sign

In Her Own Words
“Most of our clients come to us not knowing exactly what they want — just that they want it to go well and not stress them out. My job is to make that happen. The writing I do is an extension of that: helping people ask the right questions before they even pick up the phone.”
