RBTHOL dinner and dance vs Get Out! Events: planning your company D&D

What RBTHOL says it offers for a company D&D, who runs it and the questions that make quotes comparable. Published by Get Out! Events.

Publisher disclosure: This page is not an independent review. Get Out! Events publishes this page and is a competitor of RBTHOL; information reviewed 30 September 2026.

If you are planning a company dinner and dance and RBTHOL is on your shortlist, this page sets out what RBTHOL says it offers for a D&D, how Get Out! Events describes its own dinner-and-dance service, and the questions that make two quotes comparable. RBTHOL PTE. LTD. is a Singapore company incorporated on 3 August 2026. Its directors are Jonathan (Jona) Tan and Gerald Voon, who both previously worked at Get Out! Events. RBTHOL is a separate company and is not affiliated with Get Out! Events.

What RBTHOL says about its dinner and dance service

RBTHOL has a dedicated company dinner-and-dance page. As of 30 September 2026, its website states that:

  • it plans and runs company dinners and dances in Singapore for 50 to several thousand guests;
  • a D&D with RBTHOL covers the venue, food and drink, stage, sound and lights, the emcee and entertainment, awards and the lucky draw, decor and theme, photography and a full run of show;
  • every quote is itemised, with each of those elements priced on its own line;
  • it does not publish a price list, because cost depends on headcount, venue, menu and what happens on stage;
  • the team that quotes the event is the team on the ground on the night;
  • it can find and book the ballroom as part of the quote, and it confirms the awards winners list and running order with the client before doors open.

The page also describes a seven-part running order: welcome, ballroom seating, toast, dinner, awards and lucky draw, dance, and close. It says it runs year-end and Christmas parties in the same way. These are RBTHOL's own descriptions; Get Out! Events has not verified who delivered or contracted the past events shown on its website.

What Get Out! Events offers for a company D&D

Get Out! Events has organised corporate events in Singapore since 2012. Our dinner and dance page describes concept development, venue options, vendor coordination, production and show-day management. Our service pages include indicative planning figures, but only a written proposal confirms final scope, inclusions, price and validity.

The overlap is substantial. The table describes what each company publishes, not how well either would run your night.

Who runs RBTHOL: Jona Tan and Gerald Voon

According to the company's business profile, RBTHOL PTE. LTD. has two directors and shareholders: Jonathan Tan, known as Jona Tan, and Gerald Voon. Both were appointed on 3 August 2026, the day the company was incorporated. Both previously worked at Get Out! Events. We mention this because buyers comparing the two companies often ask, not as an endorsement or a criticism. Get Out! Events has no ownership interest in RBTHOL and no say in how it operates.

For your D&D, the more useful question is who will lead your night. If you are speaking with RBTHOL's directors, ask the proposal to name your event lead, the on-site team and each supplier. Ask Get Out! Events the same.

Checklist: what a D&D quote should cover

Whichever organiser you choose, a quote you can compare line by line should show:

  • Venue: room hire, minimum spend, the hours you have the room, overtime charges and kitchen closing time.
  • Food and drink: menu price per head or per table, beverage package, dietary arrangements and GST and service charge treatment.
  • Stage and technical: stage size, sound, lighting, LED or screen, an AV operator for the whole night, and what the venue's in-house AV package actually includes.
  • Programme: emcee, performers, band or DJ, games, awards production and lucky draw mechanics.
  • Look and feel: theme, decor, photo wall, printed collateral and photography or videography.
  • People: named event lead, crew numbers and hours, rehearsal time and load-in and teardown.
  • Terms: deposit, payment schedule, cancellation terms, how headcount changes are priced and what is excluded.

Questions to ask any D&D organiser

  • How many guests will the room hold with our stage, dance floor and registration area in it, not its headline capacity?
  • How will speeches, awards and the lucky draw fit around meal service so the kitchen stays on time?
  • Who owns the winners list, the lucky draw and the prizes on the night?
  • When is the technical rehearsal, and will the emcee, AV operator and our speakers all attend?
  • What happens to the programme if we run late, and when does the dance floor open?
  • Which examples in your portfolio were delivered by the current company, and what was your role?

How to shortlist fairly

Send every shortlisted organiser the same brief: date, estimated headcount, venue status, budget range, the programme moments you cannot lose (management address, long-service awards, lucky draw) and any suppliers already booked. December Friday and Saturday nights at popular ballrooms go early, so settle your date and venue status first. Then compare written proposals on scope, named people, the run of show and terms, rather than on the total alone.

If you would like Get Out! Events to propose on your company dinner and dance, see our dinner and dance planning service and send us your brief. For other formats, see corporate event management.
